Julian O’Connell

Julian is Vice President of HB Trenchless LLC, bringing over 35 years of experience in the tunneling industry. For more than two decades, he has led the successful delivery of complex tunnel and shaft projects—reaching depths of up to 170 feet—utilizing mechanized, compressed air, and conventional methods. His background includes 15 years with a leading tunneling machine manufacturer, where he collaborated closely with consulting engineers and contractors from design through construction. Julian also brings global expertise, with project experience spanning Europe, South America, the Caribbean, and North America.
